Flexible couplings with spacer machined of conical bore

GND series for conical shafts

Description

The GN couplings with conical bore of this series have the advantage of the removable spacer without moving the coupled machines. They consist of a hub machined with a conical hole ready for assembly, and a hub with a machined hole for pump shaft.

  • The spacer is made of steel in the length requested by the customer.
  • The circular shaped lugs absorb shock and vibration. The coupled half-couplings are self-centering due to the circular shape of the dowels.
  • The teeth of the half-joints (hub or flanges) are milled to reduce the axial thrusts, and make the contact surface between the tooth and the block more regular to ensure longer life of the blocks.
  • Rigid hubs are made of steel.
  • The table below shows the most common hubs with a tapered bore.
  • The joints are supplied with machined hole and groove

  • Features and dimensions can be subjected to change without notice.
  • Balancing on request after bore and keyway
  • Contact our technical office for coupling selection.
