GTB series, Flexible couplings with taper bush

Rubber pads flexible couplings guarantee a safe and quiet transmission of the movement between driver and driven unit.

This type of coupling allows absorbing shocks and torsional vibrations, thaks to the elastic round-shaped inserts that work under compression and ensure coupling’s self centering

These particular GTB couplings are characterized by a small size and easy installation thanks to the locking system of the conical bushes.They offer the advantage of an axial fitting without shaft clearance and when externally fitted, they allow replace rubber pads without moving the coupled machines

The taper bushes have cilindrical bores and keyway,

available in metrical and inch dimension, with keyway or without keyway.

The standard machining of the hubs involves the milling of the teeth which offers the following advantages:

•  Reduction of casting draft, with consequent reduction of axial thrusts.

• Surface contact  between the tooth and insert more regular, thus ensuring a  longer life of the elastic elements

In placing an order, please specify the coupling code, the diameter of the shaft  “B”, the clamp “Internal” or “External”.
