Gu Couplings selection

The following data are required for proper coupling selection:

Engine power in KW, HP, HP, RPM speed, shaft diameters, service factor(FS), nr. cylinders for diesel engines

Consider in the service factor as the table below by adding the following value for industrial engine applications:

If the engine has 6 or more cylinders +0.5, if the engine has 4 cylinders +1, if the engine has less than 4 cylinders contact us.

A quick way to select the coupling is to multiply Kw by the service factor, place in the speed row and place in the box with a number higher than determined in kw by fs. In the table there is a scale line below which that represents the speed limit of hubs without centering, below which the hubs must have centering.
